I made the clay model for this portrait in 1986 during a three day working demonstration at Bramham Horse trials. I later cast it in resin with marble dust and this is the cast you see here. I still have it at home. Torsten Wilz, the sitter, lived in Heidelberg, Germany. More pictures below. Scroll down and right to see various angles on it! |

Torsten left us suddenly in December 2008 and I will miss his friendship for the rest of my life. His rock band in Heidelberg, Blattgold will be continuing under the name Jaggards Lane, which is where the above photo was taken. |
