This is a copy of the funerary stela of Amenemhat from the eleventh dynasty (about 2000 B.C.) The couple (Amenemhat and his wife, Iyi) are about to give their son to be married. His wife to be is on the right and the table is piled up with food intended as offerings to Amenemhat and his wife.
