Egyptian Reliefs 1
This photo shows my copy of an ancient Egyptian relief representing a sporting competition. The original on which this copy is based is in the Egyptian Museum
in Cairo and is made of painted limestone. It comes from an unknown tomb in Sakkara and is from the Old Kingdom, 5th dynasty, c.2400 BC.

My copy is made of ferracotta plaster reinforced with hessian scrim and painted with gouache. Dimensions: 28cm x 114cm x 2cm thick.
